"Knowledge Printing House 2008" award goes to KOPA


The most advanced printing industry participants were honored in LR Ministry of Economy in formal meeting on May 7th, the day of Press retrieve, language and book. KOPA got award "Žinių spaustuvė 2008" (Knowledge printing-house 2008).


"I want to celebrate and congratulate everyone that we were assessed and have become the "Žinių spaustuvė 2008". We take care of employees education and professional development constantly and purposefully", - says Saulius Mudėnas, director of KOPA - "Company attaches great importance and investment to deep competence of its employees - external and internal training courses, seminars, project presentations. In 2008-2009 for production and office staff training we paid over 100 000 Lt to be fully professional team members. We have done some and it was noticed by authoritative jury from Ministry of Economy. "


One of the most important achievements of the company training - created and described internal training programs for Project manager and Printer. The best specialists in the various divisions within company hold these trainings. In first half of 2008 KOPA completed the biggest development project - B1 format printing technology was installed and series of internal seminars and training were held. The aim of trainings was to introduce the company's employee with the new systems and equipment advances and possibilities. To solidify employee knowledge information publication for internal use were issued.


In 2008 the team of KOPA visited DRUPA, the worlds' biggest print media messe which takes place in Diuseldorf (Germany) every four years.


We successfully cooperate with education institution as well as learning to ourselves. In 2008 KOPA together with Vilnius University Career Center participated in the project "Tomorrow's Leaders". Few times per year KOPA opens its doors to students. Meetings with older students of Kaunas Art Institute have become a tradition. Visit aim - to introduce and attract future graphics designers with printing house work and working principles of modern printing.


Lithuanian Printers Association LISPA organises Press industry awards to mention the press business and science advances and successful business development as well as to honor the best polygraph experts and promote responsible business. "We have a tradition to pay respect and attention to those who carry out their work with love and make every effort to seek for the best results. It is a huge moment of happiness once a year to read the achievements and merits of companies" - says LISPA President Erika Furman.
